Reinstallation requires thermal paste. Logic Board has "Energy Star" printed on board and has 2 fewer holes and different spacing for battery connector pins than Late 2006 model logic boards.
Note: the ES battery connectors have 2 fewer pins and different spacing than the non-ES models. If you have a Santa Rosa machine (the SR machines have Expose', Dashboard, and media play function buttons on the keyboard), this is the correct part. If have a non-Santa Rosa machine, remove the upper case and check to see if the words "Energy Star" are printed on the board in the second RAM slot.
This logic board only works on machines that have Energy Star printed on the board and on all Santa Rosa machines.
