MacBook Battery Connector/Sleep Sensor (Energy Star)

Connects battery to logic board. Also includes sleep sensor, which detects magnet located in display assembly to automatically put the computer to sleep when the lid is closed.
Note: the ES battery connectors have 2 fewer pins and different spacing than the non-ES models. If you have a Santa Rosa machine (the SR machines have Expose', Dashboard, and media play function buttons on the keyboard), this is the correct part. If have a non-Santa Rosa machine, remove the upper case and check to see if the words "Energy Star" are printed on the board in the second RAM slot.
This connector only works on machines that have Energy Star printed on the board and on all Santa Rosa machines.
